Christophe Ruggi

Born in Marseille, France in 1981. When Christophe was four he was imitating the stone age characters of the movie “Quest for Fire” all naked on his bed. It was an early revelation that led him to work in film. He started to learn guitar at 13 which also led to his cinematic studies, not entirely logical. He later went on to work as a camera assistant in Vancouver and with diverse movie projects in Seoul, as D.o.P, director, composer and actor.

Made with Antoine Coppola (director and writer of Asian Movies) a documentary about the Korean director Kim KI Duk entitled ” KKD, director of the convulsive beauty”. He composed the soundtrack and acted in “Hybrid” a short film directed by Kim Saino, selected now for the 13th Pusan Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival and Asiana Film Festival 2008. Now he is back in France to prepare a music album.
