Lisa Safarik

Lisa Safarik

I grew up in the lush Pacific Northwest, in a forest with raw Canadian wilderness to the north and suburbia to the south. I think first it was this juxtaposition that inspired me to wander the earth, in awe of our natural world and what lay beyond the bubble of suburbia.

Tangent was instigated in my head a long time ago and grew to where it’s at today because over and over, random people in random places have touched my life in unexpected and wondrous ways. It has given me great faith in humanity, especially in this momentous time, and so I wanted to put this together to share with you.

My explorations have led me to see the interconnected nature of things.  My, what an astounding existence!  Right here, right now… all the joys of life on this earth.  Becoming aware of what’s going on has helped me to see the way towards a sustainable future… a vibrant future! Even if that means drastic change… cause wow do things change in our ever-evolving universe…

The web is an extension of the same connected principles; it’s all connected.. we are all connected… and we are the wave… so, with much love for the internet that connects us and much respect to those who stand before me and my camera sharing their stories, I hope to encourage as many people as we can to continue doing the amazing things they are in the world, however epic or humble that may be. The goodness out there is infinite.

In peace, my friends, the random do connect, welcome to the show.
